How we check our numbers
Every probability on this site comes from exact combinatorics. Our hand-evaluation code is tested against known results and against simulations of tens of thousands of random deals. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction.
How the site is funded
The guides are free. In the future we plan to review licensed online poker rooms. Some of those reviews may include affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. When we do this:
- Affiliate links will be clearly labelled before you click them, not hidden in a footer.
- We will only feature operators licensed in the jurisdiction we are writing for.
- Commissions will never change our rankings or what we say about a room.
- Our learning pages, like this glossary and the hand-dealing game, will stay free of gambling offers.
