Draw
An incomplete hand that needs one or more cards to become strong, such as four cards to a flush.
Common draws are the flush draw (9 outs), the open-ended straight draw (8 outs) and the gutshot (4 outs). Draws with two cards to come are much stronger than with one, which is why players often bet draws on the flop as a semi-bluff.
